To improve security, we have reorganised the delivery of public services at our Embassy in Damascus. Until further notice, the British Embassy continues to provide full Consular Services but will deal with all Consular customers by appointment only.

If you wish to lodge a passport application or need Consular service you are now required to call our Consular enquiry number to arrange an appointment. The Consular enquiry number can be called between Sunday to Wednesday 08:00am – 03:30pm and Thursday 08:00am – 02:00pm.

Please be aware that applications for British passports are collected in Damascus but then transferred to the regional hub in Amman, Jordan for processing.
